What a nice way to start my day today:

While I was listening to Kiss FM, they were saying if you are outside for more than 15mins, you can easily get frost bites!  My walk to work from union station is about 12 to 15mins so I decided to take a cab.  The cab is dirty and crappy, water all over the floor.  Yeah, it was just disgusting!!!  Anyway, I told the driver where to take me.  He was on the phone the whole time he was driving and he drove me all the way to the other side of Wacker Dr.  When he said I’m here, I told him no, this is not where my work place is, I’m going to…….repeated my work address.  He gave me like a “sigh” face!  So whatever, I ignored him.  When we got to my work place, this is our conversation:

Me: “How much?”

Cab Driver: “Just give me $5.”

Me: “Here is $10”

Cab Driver: “I don’t have change, don’t you have any singles?”

Me: “Uh no…aren’t you supposed to have change?”

Cab Driver: “No, you or me need to get change!”

Me: Sitting in the car didn’t do anything

Cab Driver: “Here is a cab behind us….how come you didn’t tell me when we passed this area (hint hint: he was going lower Wacker so I thought he knows where the hell he is going!) Is this the first time that you come here? Blah blah blah”

Me: “Uh noo…..I thought you know where you are going, I told you the address already and you were on the phone the whole time!”

Cab Driver got the change and gave me my change so I left and gave him a dirty look. 

After talking to my coworkers, I should have get his cab number and report him!  Next time!  Lesson learned for today!!! 

Btw…WHAT A COLD DAY!!!!!!!!  Actually FREEZING DAY!!!!!!!
