Interesting lunch today:
I went to lunch with my team for a team member's bday celebration. It is at a greek restaurant called Santorini on Adams and Halsted. I ordered a lamb dish and it was delicious. However, I was so full and only ate 1/3 of it. I plan to leave it for tomorrow's lunch. This bus boy came and took my lunch. I asked to get it to go. I think he was spaced out so when I turned around, I saw him put my dish in the dish bin. I'm like....uh...I hope he didnt just throw my dish away. And guess what he did!!!! My boss asked for it and the server went and questioned the bus boy. The bus boy went and took the dish out from the dirty dish bin and packed it to go. Uh....that was just nasty!! I wanted to say something but my boss said not to bother with it b/c it looks like the boss boy will get in trouble!!! So yeah, I end up throwing my food away...2/3 of them uneaten!!!!! Sigh..what a waste of food!!!!!!
